Traced is an editorial magazine that explores immigration to Canada through food and personal experience. Created in collaboration with Ziyi Zhangli (who did the wonderful illustration), each issue focuses on one culture and examines how food shifts after migration as people adapt to new ingredients, environments, and communities. The publication centres around real voices, immigrants, families, and small business owners, using food as a way to discuss identity, memory, and culture. By focusing on everyday stories, Traced invites readers to reflect on how food connects people across different histories and places.
